β‘ Well, the sky's already showing off β‘
If you're in the Sturt Unit area (Adelaide foothills, we see you) you've probably noticed the thunder and lightning putting on a bit of a show at the moment. Consider it the entrΓ©e! The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Severe Weather Warning for our area, current from this evening into Sunday morning, so the main course is still coming.
β οΈTranslation: this isn't a "watch the storm from the porch with a cuppa" situation for much longer. Time to do the slightly annoying but very sensible prep now, while you can still see what you're doing:
πΉ Wrangle the trampoline, outdoor furniture, and anything else that fancies becoming a projectile
πΉ Give the car a nicer parking spot than "directly under that tree you've been meaning to get looked at"
πΉ Keep half an eye on the warning over the next couple of days: conditions can shift faster than your Sunday plans
