Attention all bakers! Please help us with baking goods to sell at a cake stall at the State Gov election on Saturday 28 November at the Creswick Neighbourhood Centre (polling venue).

We will be having a cake stall and a sausage sizzle so let us know how you might like to help us fundraise to support the CNC.

The air con is in!!! Hooray!

We cannot thank the Creswick Choir enough for their hard work heading up a huge fundraising effort in which everyone came to the party - quite literally with the One Voice concert in July.

Volunteer led and now we can all be cool on those stinking hot days enjoy the air con.

Also thank you to individual donors who topped it up ❤️.

This is a wonderful legacy item for the CNC showing what fabulous, motivated community members we have and that anything can be done!

Enjoy

On 1-2 June, 18 people completed Mental Health First Aid Training.

This would not have been possible without the support of the Creswick Readiness Group and Hepburn Shire Council, and the financial contributions from IGA Creswick plus Liquor and Ballarat and District Su***de Awareness Network Inc which enabled the course to be run at no cost to participants.

What a great outcome to have more members of the community feeling more confident to support and identify those struggling with mental health issues and knowing where to seek additional professional help.

This strengthens local communities where people feel supported and cared for, and I think we would all agree this is a good thing!

Well done to those who undertook the two-day training and keep an eye out for the next course which will be in October. Registrations will open in the second half of the year. To express interest please contact the CNC via email [email protected]
