General Entry 453, Emms Division - Weeks 2 & 3 Update
The past two weeks have been packed with learning, new experiences and plenty of growth for the recruits of GE453, Emms Division.
They have continued developing their basic skills and are becoming more confident each day. Their marching has improved significantly, with recruits showing the discipline and teamwork that are essential throughout their training and future careers.
There were plenty of proud smiles during their ceremonial kit up as recruits saw themselves dressed in their ceremonial kit for the first time. They have also been learning how to iron and maintain their uniforms, ensuring they always present themselves to the high standards expected of them.
The division recently completed their Mariner Skills Evaluation (MSE), putting into practice many of the fundamental skills that will support them throughout their training and their careers.
Recruits also conducted their swim tests, demonstrating skills that could prove critical in an emergency at sea. These tests help ensure recruits are prepared to respond safely should the unexpected occur.
Week three concluded with the high ropes course, which challenged recruits to step outside their comfort zones and test their resilience. It was fantastic to see so many recruits push through their fears and support one another to successfully complete the challenge.
