🌪️ CYCLONE SEASON IS COMING – SECURE IT BEFORE THE WIND TAKES IT!

With cyclone season approaching, the Shire of Cue is reminding residents to take a few minutes to check around their properties and secure any loose outdoor items.

Strong winds can turn everyday household items into dangerous flying debris, potentially damaging powerlines, causing power outages and putting the community at risk.

🏡 Things to check around your property:

* Trampolines – anchor securely or dismantle.
* Inflatable pools – empty and pack away.
* Outdoor furniture – secure or bring inside.
* Gazebos and shade structures – dismantle or secure.
* Wheelie bins and other loose items – make sure they can’t blow away.

⚡ A little preparation now can prevent a lot of damage later.

Please help keep our community safe and reduce the risk of damage to Horizon Power’s electrical infrastructure.

If you see fallen or damaged powerlines, stay well clear and report them to Horizon Power on 13 23 51.

Stay safe, Cue!

We had Nick from Infinity Skate Infinity Skate WA in Geraldton visit Cue these school holidays to run a skate workshop for our local kids.

It was great to see everyone getting involved, learning some new skills, building confidence and having plenty of fun along the way.

A big thank you to Nick for making the trip out to Cue and giving the kids a fantastic school holiday activity!
