Look, we’re not exactly blown away by the new ECEC funding announcement… so we decided to get out there and burn off a bit of frustration! 😂🚲🌧️

Fresh air, a bit of movement and a reminder that sometimes you just need to get outside and reset.

Because when you’re passionate about early childhood education, it’s hard not to feel frustrated when funding announcements don’t seem to reflect the full picture of what children, educators and services actually need.

Anyway… we’ll keep advocating for what matters, keep showing up, and keep moving forward (even if it’s uphill, in the rain 😅).

Sometimes fresh air really is the best medicine. 💚🌿

Finally admitting that balancing my phone on random household objects isn't a long-term filming strategy 😂

Sound ON for the very enthusiastic commentary from my 6-year-old, who seems to have grasped this whole filming thing far quicker than myself and Janelle!

Nobody warned us that running a business would involve becoming our own camera crew 🎬

Anyway, we're going to embrace it, have a laugh and see what happens.

What happens when you get to experience social prescribing for yourself? 💛

This weekend, our co-founder Kerry attended Flip the Script, a wellbeing retreat for allied health professionals.

Kerry strongly believes in the power of social prescribing, connecting people (and Grand Friends!) with activities, community and relationships that support their health and wellbeing. This weekend, she got to experience it firsthand.

The day blended education about social prescribing with yoga, art, beach walks, ocean swims and a silent disco🕺🌊

One memorable moment? Two older people walking along the beach spotted the group dancing and looked a little confused. Kerry shared her headphones so they could understand why everyone was dancing to the YMCA! 😂

At The Intergenerational Project, we believe these everyday moments of connection matter. Bringing generations together creates opportunities for belonging, shared experiences and stronger communities.

Because wellbeing isn’t just about what happens in a consultation room. It’s also about what happens when we connect with each other ❤️
