GET YOUR PROPERTY READY FOR SEVERE WEATHER SEASON

Small maintenance jobs can make a big difference when severe weather hits.
Check your roof for damage, clear gutters and downpipes, trim back branches near your home, and fix any rust, loose fittings or rotting timber.
Keeping on top of maintenance can help reduce damage from heavy rain, blocked gutters and falling branches.

💧 CHECK YOUR GUTTERS & DRAINS 💧

Blocked gutters and drains are one of the biggest causes of storm damage SES volunteers respond to.

Before heavy rains commence:
🧹 Clear leaves & debris from gutters
🚿 Check downpipes are flowing freely
💦 Clear yard drains so water can escape safely

A few minutes of cleaning now could save thousands in water damage later.
