Biosecurity Notice - PIRSA is investigating potential resistance varroa in Riverland region 15/06/2026

๐Ÿ South Australian beekeepers are reminded to stay vigilant following the detection of varroa mite treatment resistance in the Riverland.
Regular hive monitoring, rotating registered treatments where appropriate, and keeping good records are all important steps in managing varroa mite.
Department of Primary Industries and Regions is also offering a range of upcoming workshops and webinars to support beekeepers with the latest information and advice.
