🔥 Drill Night Recap 🔥

Monday night at drill, the 284 crew rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on with our portable pumps, pumping operations, hose work, and water relaying — key skills that can make all the difference when it counts.

With bushfire season fast approaching, now is the time to sharpen up. The crew worked through setting up and running portable pumps, laying and managing hose lines, establishing water relays, and troubleshooting on the fly to keep water moving where it's needed most. It's the kind of practice that builds the confidence and teamwork our community relies on when the sirens sound.

A big thank you to everyone who came out and put in the effort. Preparation now means we're ready to protect our community later. 💪

Stay tuned for more updates as we gear up for the season ahead 🔥🚒

Looking for something to do this weekend?

Spring is a good time to clear out what’s built up around your home. Remove leaves and debris from gutters and cut back overgrown vegetation close to the house.

Keeping these areas clear can help reduce the risk as bushfire season approaches.

What an incredible day at our Open Day! 🚒🔥

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support us today.

From the firefighting demonstrations to the road crash rescue display, it was fantastic to see so many people taking the time to learn more about what we do and engage with our crew. We hope everyone enjoyed getting up close with the trucks, equipment, demonstrations, and meeting the firefighters behind the scenes.

We also want to thank everyone who helped make the day possible — our crew, families, supporting businesses, and all those who assisted behind the scenes before, during, and after the event. Events like this simply couldn’t happen without you.
With a special thank you to Luke Cross Engineering & Rigging for allowing us to utilise their car park, and Dubbo Crane Hire for the car we cut up.

Most importantly, thank you to our community for continuing to support your local firefighters. We are proud to serve such an amazing community. ❤️🚒

We hope everyone had a fantastic day, stayed safe, and took away some valuable fire and road safety knowledge. See you next year!
