What makes a Linda avocado grow this big? 🥑👀

These aren’t your average avocados. Some of our Linda avocados are reaching seriously impressive sizes, and there’s a reason behind it.

This incredible variety has a clever way of putting its energy to work. Rather than putting as much energy into producing oil in the fruit, the tree can put more into growing the avocado itself, helping produce those seriously impressive sizes, all while still giving you that delicious, creamy avocado goodness!

And it doesn’t rush the process. Linda avocados stay on the tree longer, giving them extra time to keep growing before they’re ready to harvest. 🌿

The result? Some ENORMOUS avocados. 🥑

You can find Linda avocados in our Fruit Shop until mid-November, so there’s still time to get your hands on one! 🌴

Have you ever seen a tree flower like this? 🌸🌿

Right now, our jaboticaba trees are covered in tiny, delicate white flowers, creating one of the most incredible sights on the farm.

Unlike most fruit trees, jaboticaba flowers emerge directly from the trunk and larger branches, covering the tree in little bursts of white. It’s a beautiful and surprisingly rare sight to see, and it only lasts for a short time. ✨

For a little while, the tree looks almost like it’s been covered in snow.

But there’s a very exciting reason these flowers are here... 👀

Once they disappear, our delicious Jaboticabas will start appearing 😋

Soon, these trees will be covered in sweet, delicious fruit growing right from the trunk and branches.

One of our favourite exotic fruits is just around the corner. 🌴

An exciting update!

A brand new orchard is taking shape at Tropical Fruit World.

Where a giant avocado orchard once stood, we’ve cleared the trees and started again, planting 300 new sapote trees to create something completely different.

And we’ve got some seriously exciting varieties going in, including Green Sapote, Gray Mamey Sapote, Magana Mamey Sapote and Panton Mamey Sapote.

It’ll be a little while before Sapoteland reaches its full potential, but watching this new orchard grow from the ground up is pretty special.

One day, these 300 trees will be producing some of the most incredible tropical fruits on the farm. 🌴✨
