FUTERKIND NORTHERN VIETNAM EXPEDITION
FutureKind are excited to share an incredible learning opportunity for our students at Eaglehawk Secondary College!
Over ten days, students will travel through Northern Vietnam, from the bustling streets of Hanoi to the beautiful Mai Chau highlands, where they will embark on three days of trekking through remote landscapes and rural villages.
Students will experience Vietnamese culture first hand through shared meals, simple communal accommodation and time spent connecting with local communities.
A highlight of the journey will be visiting Khai Cai and Quyet Thang, where students will work alongside local residents on a community-led solar-lighting initiative. This meaningful experience will give students the opportunity to contribute to their host communities while developing an understanding of service, cultural respect and the importance of listening and learning from others.
While the journey will bring challenges and new experiences, it will also provide opportunities for students to build confidence, strengthen friendships, develop resilience and broaden their understanding of the world.
We look forward to seeing our students embrace this extraordinary adventure and return home with lasting memories, new perspectives and a deeper appreciation of the positive impact they can make in their communities and beyond.
