πŸ₯Š Building Confidence, One Kick at a Time! πŸ₯Š

We were excited to have Tracey and Co from Muay Thai Lab to introduce age-appropriate Muay Thai movement lessons to our 4-year-old classroom!
At this age, our focus was on using fun, structured movement to help children build important skills that support their development and confidence.
Through these sessions, the children had the opportunities to develop:

✨ Gross motor skills – jumping, balancing, kicking, stepping and moving their whole bodies
✨ Coordination and body awareness – learning how their arms, legs and bodies work together
✨ Listening and concentration – following instructions and learning simple movement patterns
✨ Discipline and self-control – practising patience, taking turns and following routines
✨ Confidence and resilience – trying something new, practising and celebrating their achievements
✨ Social skills – working alongside friends, cooperating and showing respect
✨ A positive attitude towards movement – most importantly, having fun while being active!
Our lessons were supportive and developmentally appropriate, with the emphasis on movement, learning and enjoyment.

πŸŽƒ Spooky creativity in action! πŸ‘»

With Halloween approaching, the Toddler children have been showing a growing interest in all things spooky! We followed their interests by providing opportunities for them to explore Halloween-inspired art and painting.
Through this experience, the children were able to express their creativity, strengthen their fine-motor skills, explore sensory experiences, develop language and vocabulary, and use their imagination.
Most importantly, the experience allowed us to build on the children's interests and create meaningful learning opportunities through play, exploration and creativity.
We love seeing where children's curiosity can take their learning!

πŸ‰πŸŽ‰ FOOTY FEVER HAS ARRIVED! πŸŽ‰πŸ‰

Our little footy fans and staff got into the spirit today, proudly showing off their favourite team colours!

And of course, no footy day would be complete without a proper footy feast! We tucked into party pies; sausage rolls and hotdogs for a special treat because we all know the snacks are an important part of the game! πŸ₯§πŸŒ

The children enjoyed dancing to each of the teams theme songs. πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί

There were plenty of smiles, team spirit and maybe a few very enthusiastic footy supporters! What a ripper of a day! πŸ’₯

What team are you barracking for?

πŸ‰ Footy Fever has hit Kinder! πŸ‰

With the excitement building for the AFL Grand Final, our four-year-old kinder children have been showing a real interest in all things footy!

The children used their creativity to make their very own football characters from recycled cardboard, choosing and proudly decorating them in their favourite team colours. They also worked together to create a football field from leftover cardboard, painting and designing it as a team. πŸŽ¨πŸ‰

Tomorrow we’ll celebrate Footy Colours Day, with the children excited to come dressed in their favourite football apparel and enjoy a special footy-themed lunch of pies, sausage rolls and hotdogs! 🌭πŸ₯§

A wonderful opportunity for creativity, teamwork, connection and following the children’s interests through play.

**PLEASE NOTE** the centre will be closed this Friday 25th September for the AFL grand final public holiday.
