Get your property fire season ready with FREE green waste disposal 🌿

As fire season approaches, Campaspe Shire Council is supporting residents to prepare their properties by offering free garden waste disposal at Resource Recovery Centres from 14 October to 4 November.

This initiative makes it easier for households to clean up around their homes, reduce fire hazards and safely dispose of garden waste in preparation for the Fire Danger Period.

The details:

✅ You can drop off up to 3m³ of household garden only organics free of charge
✅ Available at all Campaspe Shire Resource Recovery Centres, excluding Toolleen.

For locations and opening hours, visit: www.campaspe.vic.gov.au/rrc

Green waste dropped off at our Resource Recovery Centres is processed into mulch, which is available free for residents to use in their gardens.

THAT’S A WRAP! 🚒🎉

A massive thank you to the Echuca/Moama community for coming along and supporting our Open Day!

We had an absolute rippa of a day welcoming everyone through the station, showing off our trucks and equipment, chatting with locals, and giving the community a behind-the-scenes look at what we do.

It was fantastic to see so many families, kids and community members getting involved, asking questions, and sharing the day with us. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

A big thank you also to everyone who helped organise the day and to our incredible volunteers for giving up their time to make it all happen. We couldn’t have done it without you.

We look forward to seeing you all again at the next one! 🚒❤️
