Eildon CFA Eildon CFA is a community based government organisation made up of 100% volunteers. This page will not post information regarding fire, weather or incidents.

Eildon CFA is a 100% volunteer organisation that has been serving the wider Eildon community for over 71 years. Eildon CFA provide a 24/7 emergency service responding to all land based fire, search and rescue, and provide the Marine fire and rescue capability to Lake Eildon. For all fire emergency's please call 000 and ask for 'fire', please do not try to contact the brigade directly as numbers are unmanned. Eildon CFA are always welcoming of new members, if you have ever considered volunteering with CFA, please contact us though this page for further information. Please refer to the CFA App, CFA Website (www.cfa.vic.gov.au) or Emergency Vic Website (www.emergency.vic.gov.au) for that information.

Captain Nicki Lund was privileged to be invited to speak at the Eildon Boat Club Ladies’ Luncheon, sharing her insights on Women in Leadership and reflecting on the challenges, experiences and lessons that have shaped her leadership journey. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with an inspiring group of women, celebrate the importance of female leadership and encourage others to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. A true highlight of the luncheon was hearing from the incredible keynote speaker, Jana Pittman, whose story and achievements were both inspiring and empowering. It was a memorable occasion celebrating strong women, leadership and the power of sharing our stories.

Today we mark National Police Remembrance Day, a time to pause and honour those who have given their lives in the line of duty.
We remember their service and recognise the impact of their loss on their families, friends and colleagues.

🎉 Eildon Trivia Night – A Great Success! 🎉

On Saturday, 19 September 2026, the Eildon Fire Brigade and Eildon Lions Club joined forces to hold a fantastic Trivia Night at the Eildon Golf Club.

A fun night was had by all, with an amazing 28 prizes won through door prizes, raffles, coin tosses and auctions. There was plenty of laughter, friendly competition and great community spirit throughout the evening!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise, run and support the night, helping to make it such a wonderful success.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all the organisations and businesses who generously donated prizes. Your support is greatly appreciated, with all proceeds raised going towards the purchase of a generator for the Eildon Fire Station.

Thank you to everyone who came along, donated, participated and helped make the night possible. Your support makes a real difference to our local community. ❤️🚒

The Eildon Fire Brigade and Eildon Lions Club are hosting a Trivia Night at the Eildon Golf Club on Saturday 19th September. There are Raffles and Door Prizes to be won. BYO nibbles. All funds raised go towards a generator for the Fire Station.

We are deeply saddened by the news of three firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty in Greece.

On behalf of CFA, we extend our heartfelt condolences to their families, friends, colleagues and the wider firefighting community.

As extreme heat, strong winds, and rapidly spreading fire conditions challenged crews on multiple fronts, these firefighters answered the call with courage, commitment, and selfless service. Their dedication to protecting others came at the highest possible cost.

These tragic events serve as a powerful reminder of the courage and dedication firefighters demonstrate every day to protect their communities.

🕯️ Rest in Peace. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.
