Can alpacas really spit? ๐Ÿฆ™๐Ÿ’ฆ

Farmer Bailey has a chat with Pebbles, one of our new alpacas, about this very question. Nothing like asking the expert! ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ”Š Make sure your sound is ON for this one โ€” itโ€™s the conversation that makes it!

๐Ÿพ MEET THE WHITE RIDGE FARM TEAM! ๐Ÿพ

โค๏ธ This week, we're introducing you to Joelie!

Joelie is another of our long-standing team members and has been part of the White Ridge Farm family for many years.

Having team members who have been with us for so long means a great deal to us, and Joelie is certainly one of those special people who have helped make White Ridge Farm what it is today.

๐Ÿท In this week's video, you'll see Joelie feeding milk to our little piggies while she shares what she loves most about working at the farm. It's one of those lovely moments that gives you a glimpse into life behind the scenes!

โค๏ธ Have you met Joelie during one of your visits? We'd love to hear from you in the comments!

Weโ€™ve welcomed some cute new piglets from the Sandy Creek Pub, which meant catching our bigger piglets to return to the pub. The girls certainly had their hands full!

Our new team member, Farmer Kirsten, is much more used to wrangling Brahman cattle than pigs, but she put in a sterling effortโ€”even when the pig was almost as big as her! ๐Ÿท๐Ÿ’ช

Welcome to the team, Farmer Kirsten! Nothing like a bit of pig wrangling to get you started! ๐Ÿ˜‚

P.S. Our cute new piglets are at the farm ready for you this weekend! Come and see them while theyโ€™re littleโ€ฆ they donโ€™t stay that way for long! ๐Ÿ’›

A swarm of bees arrived at the farm on the weekend, making themselves right at home. We welcome plenty of visitors, but this lot brought their whole family! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Thankfully, our very good friend Peter Vigh came to our rescue quickly and calmly moved the bees to a new home.

These short videos and photos show just how carefully Peter handled the swarm. We were very grateful to have someone who knew exactly what to do.

Thank you, Peter, for looking after us and our unexpected little visitors and Farmer Joelie for being brave for the photo! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ

Bailey is one of our longest-serving team members and a familiar face to many of our visitors!

We asked Bailey what her favourite part of working at White Ridge Farm is, and here's what she had to say!
