Dryers, heaters, electric blankets and other appliances can all be common ways for fires to start.

This dryer was the cause of a fire inside a home. Thankfully the damage was contained to the laundry.

To help prevent home fires;

🔥 Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for all appliances, including maintenance.
🔥 Check appliances over and make sure they are still in working order before using them.
🔥 Keep clothes, bedding and other flammable items well away from heaters.
