Thanks to all our members for volunteering their weekend/s to help get through some of our planned burns, training and fire season preparation.
Yesterday, ERFB successfully completed a Hazard Reduction Burn on Neil Rd and assisted Landsborough/Ilkley brigades to complete a HRB at Glenview School.
Whilst we are looking for opportunities to complete HRB’s, the window is closing fast with fire danger ratings quickly worsening.
The region has several major fires with multiple emergency call outs in the past few days. Please be vigilant and help keep our community and fire fighters safe!

Cameron is part of our regional arduous and remote area firefighter team, who were in Currumbin today assisting in this search and rescue. This team is highly specialised and test-fit, ready for deployment anywhere, inside and outside our country! We are fortunate to have several RAFT members playing key roles in our brigade. Eudlo Rural Fire Brigade is gearing up for this year's fire season and requesting locals to put expressions of interest forward for potential Hazard Reduction Burns that we can assist with. We also encourage you to be proactive and start preparing your properties.

📞 Our Fire Warden is Cam and his number is 0428 052347. He will help you assess what you want burned, discuss how you can get it ready for the brigade, and issue a free permit to allow the brigade to assist you.
📞 Our First Officer is Liam and his number is 0409 990621 if you have any general queries or concerns.

🗓️ We will also be opening the shed on Saturday 23rd May from 0800 for a couple of hours. Come down and talk to us about whatever you like, we love chatting with our locals.
