The Fingal Valley Neighbourhood House team would like to thank participants in the Art for Life exhibition as part of Mental Health Week and Seniors Month. It was wonderful to see so many diverse entries and display them in our new venue, Fingal Village.

We had over 100 visitors across October with many favourable comments and interest in the exhibition. The People’s Choice vote went to Marietta Hargreaves for her art work “Springtime all the time” featuring real blossoms and twigs, watercolours on rice paper and clay. It was a popular piece celebrating her love of nature and its beauty.

All art works can now be collected from the Fingal Village (if open) or call in to see our admin team (9-3pm Mon- Friday) to collect if you have not done so already.

Thank you once again for your participation and for visiting the exhibition and we look forward to sharing future arts, making and creating and related activities in the months ahead

We are seeking Expressions of Interest for makers and creators who would like to participate in the Fingal Christmas Market on the 18th December from 2-6pm. Stalls are $10 pp and the event will tie in with the Fingal Community Christmas Party.
