The annual Australia Somali Day Festival is just around the corner. Every year, our community gathers to celebrate Somali culture, unity, and diversity in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

The festival offers something for everyone, including:

INNA LILLAHI WA INNAA ILEYHI RAJI'UN

It is with deep sorrow that we have received the news of the passing of Halima Sh. Mohamed, a highly respected leader and valued member of our community in Victoria. She dedicated her life to serving others with kindness, wisdom, and dignity. Her loss is deeply felt by all of us.

We ask Allah (SWT) to have mercy on her, forgive her, and grant her the highest level of Paradise (Jannatul Firdaws). May Allah also grant patience and strength to her family, friends, and the entire Somali community during this difficult time.

EID MUBARAK!

Last night, Somali Community Inc. proudly held our annual Ramadan Iftar Dinner in Flemington.

Every year, we come together during this blessed month of Ramadan to share food, prayers, and unity. This year was very special. Many members of the community from Victoria attended and showed great support.

We are especially proud of our youth. They participated actively and did an outstanding job helping to organise and support the event. Their energy and commitment made the night even more meaningful.

We would like to thank everyone who supported this event, including victorian government, our volunteers, organisers and community elders. Your support and generosity made this night possible.

Thank you also to everyone who attended and contributed.
May this Ramadan bring peace, unity, and blessings to all.
