Omar Hassan is a Lebanese socialist activist, and a member of Socialist Alternative. He is an active member and speaker with Free Palestine Melbourne, and the editor of Marxist Left Review. In 2011, he was one of 19 activists arrested for protesting Max Brenner's ties to the Israeli military as part of a Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) campaign, and continues to fight for Palestinian liberation to this day.

Bella Beiraghi is an Iranian socialist and Free Palestine activist. She has led demonstrations in solidarity with the women's movement in Iran and is a member of Socialist Alternative. In 2022 she co-ordinated 'Israeli Apartheid Week' at Melbourne University, calling for the university to cut ties with Lockheed Martin, one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of weapons to Israel.
