Waterfront Fest

From local gigs in Cube 37 to world domination! The Belair Lip Bombs, the Frankston band signed to Jack White's label Third Man Records is set to play Marvel Stadium, supporting none other than the Foo Fighters 🙌👏👏

Guardian Australia said this about their latest album "Again" recently:

"One of the year’s best indie rock albums, comes courtesy of the Belair Lip Bombs, a Melbourne (Frankston) four-piece who write with a precision and attention to melody that could put hired-gun pop songwriters to shame."

You may have been lucky enough to catch them at Laneway last week and if not they're at Corner Hotel on Feb 27 touring this album. We loved having them on the Waterfront Fest 2024 main stage and at Sound Cube at Cube 37 in Frankston Arts Centre also in 2024.

We can't wait to see what else 2026 holds for them. Represent 👯‍♀️

St Jerome's Laneway Festival Perth may have had Robert Irwin as Sally, but Waterfront had Frankston's Gnome Music joining Aussie icons Hockey Dad on stage for the final song before the fireworks. And on Friday John Course and Sunshine and Disco Faith Choir bringing the God is a DJ moments in Franga. After a killer set from DJ Cooper Smith.

Thank you to our friends at Snowy River Frankston for bringing some of their high quality caravans to Waterfront, so we could get a feel for van life in a Snowy River Caravan! Very nice we think!

And thank you to them for being the Presenting Partner of our fireworks display which was just beautiful and watched by record numbers of the community!
