Thank you to all the amazing local poets ✒️ who submitted their work to our competition, we loved reading them all! After much consideration, we have selected Michael's poem "The Circle Mark" as our winner. 🏅This poem gave us a powerful impression of memory, lineage, and maturation. Come down to Fremantle Library to read the full poem. 📜

Life throws a lot at us, but books always have our back — offering inspiration, relief, or a much-needed escape.

For R U OK? Day, our team is sharing the books that helped them unwind, reconnect, or find perspective through different seasons of life:

Featured reads:
• A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin
• Out of the Blue by Anthony Field with Greg Truman
• SoXiety by Tamlyn Teow
• Quilt Step by Step by DK Publishing
