🐶 School of Veterinary Science Student Placement Support 🐶
UQ’s School of Veterinary Science has a vision to enable every student to undertake wide-ranging placements. Too often, financial hardship can limit a student’s ability to explore placement opportunities too far from home. The costs of travel and living expenses – especially in rural and regional areas – put some placements out of reach or make them difficult to complete in the face of placement poverty.
By supporting students on placement, you’re not just easing financial stress, you’re opening doors. You’re encouraging future vets to embrace new challenges and gain the confidence they need to thrive in practice – wherever that might be.
