Children's Week starts tomorrow on 24 October!
This week promotes awareness of children's rights under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The theme for 2026 is based on UNCRC Article 30:
Libraries are a safe place where children and families can engage and learn. We love seeing children come for Rock and Rhyme, find joy in books and be part of our children focused activities.
Did you know a child can have a library membership from the day they're born? With a membership they can access:
๐ LOTE4Kids โ a digital collection of over 4,500 picture books (eBooks and audiobooks) in 70+ languages.
๐ Little Explorers book packs โ packs contain five books on an early learning topic for children aged 4โ8 years.
๐ฌ VOX Books โ read a picture book and listen at the same time. Each print book is fitted with a special reader on the inside cover that plays a read-a-long.
