What a wonderful Kindergarten Orientation Day! 💚✨

Today, we had the absolute joy of welcoming our future Kindergarten students and their families to HopePoint Christian School! 🤗

There were smiles, excitement and plenty of fun as our newest little learners met their teachers, enjoyed playtime, got creative with craft activities and, in a much-anticipated moment, finally met their buddies in person! 🎨

Meanwhile, parents attended an information session and enjoyed a lovely morning tea, connecting with staff and other families as they prepare for this exciting new chapter. 🌟

It was such a special morning, and we loved seeing our future Kindy students begin to feel at home at HopePoint! 🥰

We can’t wait to officially welcome you all in 2027! 🍎

Today our Dance Competition Team took to the stage at the Sydney Regional Dance X Competition and what an incredible result! 🏆

Our 21 students competed for the very first time and HopePoint placed second! We are incredibly proud of our dancers, who have worked so hard and rehearsed week after week in preparation for the competition. Their dedication, teamwork and enthusiasm certainly paid off. 🌟

A big thank you also to Miss Georgia for her dedication, encouragement and all the work she has put into preparing our students for the competition. 🤍

Yesterday, year 3 to 6 students enjoyed an engaging visit from the Cleanaway kNOw Waste program, learning more about how we can all play a part in caring for our environment. 🌏🍃

Throughout the incursion, students explored how everyday materials can be recycled and reused, discovered the important role of composting and worms in recycling organic waste, and investigated how litter can impact our wider environment. They also learnt about making more sustainable choices when shopping, the impact of plastic pollution on our oceans and wildlife, and practical ways we can reduce food waste. ♻️

It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to think about the small choices they can make each day to reduce waste and help care for our world. 🤗
