Centacare Family Services Centacare Family Services offers family relationship and community services to individuals, couples and families.

Centacare Family Services was established in 1986 by the Bishop of Geraldton. Aware of the fundamental dignity of the person, Centacare acts as the official welfare arm of the Church in the Diocese of Geraldton by providing professional, pastoral and community care to families and individuals. The goal for Centacare from its beginning is to provide to the community a holistic family welfare service. The professional goal is to utilize the knowledge and skills from the behavioural sciences applied to the human condition as a healing and growth process. Thus, family relationship and community services are provided within one diverse, flexible organisation.

We’re looking forward to being part of the Ngala Midwest & Gascoyne Midwest Early Years Network Children’s Week Family Fun Day next week! 💛

This year, we’re celebrating children’s right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practise their religion.

📍 Join us at the Museum of Geraldton for a fun-filled day of family activities, local services, connection and community spirit as we celebrate our amazing kids!

🎨 AN EVENING OF STORIES, MUSIC & CONNECTION

Imagine an evening where conversations inspire ideas, music brings people together, and an artist captures it all on canvas!

Join Centacare on 18 November as we celebrate International Men’s Day 2026 and this year’s theme, “The Future Is Everyone.” 💙

Hosted by former AFL star Harry Taylor, our panel of local men will explore what this theme means to them and how we can work together towards a stronger, more inclusive future.

With live music, shared food, non-alcoholic drinks and an artist painting throughout the evening, there will be plenty to see, hear and experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about the important work and programs of Centacare’s Men’s Hub.

We’ll be leaving the items along the shed and behind the skip bin over the weekend for anyone who would like to pop by, have a look and take anything they can use.

Centacare Family Services is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Men’s Group Facilitators to join our Geraldton-based Men’s Hub team.

The Men’s Hub provides a welcoming, socially accepting space focused on men’s health and wellbeing, supporting men from all backgrounds. 💙
