Australia Day preparations are already underway!

Nominations for Girgarre’s 2027 Australia Day Community Award are now open.

Please contact The Girgarre Cottage on 5854 6482 or see the latest copy of the Girgarre Gazette for a nomination form.

During this year, The Cottage has been working on ways to improve our towns Australia Day.

A new perpetual shield has been created, as well as the honour board being updated and rehung in the Girgarre Hall’s supper room.

As a non profit organisation The Cottage was unable to provide funds for the entire project. We wish to thank The Shire of Campaspe, Girgarre Hall Committee, Girgarre Development Committee & local sign writer Karl Devlin for the support to help us get this project across the line.

You asked........we listened!

The Girgarre Community Cottage has organised a
Computer Course that encompasses the variety of
requests we have had from our community members.

You can come with open mind to learn what ever is
discussed, come with specific projects you need help
with or a problem you need solved.

The groups are small and interactive so everyone
achives their goals and does not feel insecure about
their lack of knowledge.

The cost is only $40 per person, whether you do one
of the three subjects or all of them.
