Here's a classic recipe: Ingredients: 2 to 3 ripe bananas, mashed 1/3 cup melted butter 1 teaspoon baking soda Pinch of salt 3/4 cup sugar (you can adjust to taste) 1 large egg, beaten 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour Optional Add-ins: 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans work well) 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan. 2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. 3. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas. 4. Mix in the baking soda and salt. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. 5. Add the flour last, stirring just until incorporated. Be careful not to overmix, as it can make the bread tough. 6. Fold in any optional ingredients such as nuts, chocolate chips, or cinnamon. 7. Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. 8. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 350°F (175°C), or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. 9. Remove from oven and let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes. 10.
