Picture this: A single Firefighter carrying 40kg of equipment up multiple flights of stairs without breaking a sweat. Or single-handedly rescuing a casualty without any physical strain whatsoever 💪🏼
Sounds like a superpower, doesn’t it?
In fact, this will be a reality with the SCDF Exoskeleton. Currently in development, this high-tech equipment will allow our Firefighters to perform physically demanding Firefighting and rescue operations with much greater ease by transferring weight through the Exoskeleton and down to its footplates.
What was once thought about only in science fiction will soon be our lifesaving reality.✊🏻
