Our Ipswich | Springfield CatchUp group attended the Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser at The Blue Fin Fishing Club, helping raise an impressive $2,900 for the Cancer Council, beating last year’s total. Along with an amazing morning tea and $4,000 worth of prizes up for grabs, the Chirpy table also had a lucky day, taking home seven prizes between them.

The Joondalup Chirpies had a great turnout for their CatchUp at Oceans 27, with plenty of good company and generous meals that proved to be great value. It was also lovely to welcome back a member who had been away for a few weeks, along with a visiting Chirpy from New Zealand who joined while visiting family in Australia. With talk already turning to a return visit, breakfast may be next on the menu.

Our Newcastle CatchUp group enjoyed wonderful company and beautiful views when they dined at Honeysuckle, Newcastle Harbour. The weather was brilliant, which made for a perfect day.

Our Morisset | Wangi Wangi Chirpies had a great CatchUp at the local rodeo! So much fun and excitement and great seating.

May's Book Club CatchUp for the Toukley Sea Seeker Chirpies was all about embracing the lighter side of life, inspired by the theme “A day without laughter is a day wasted” by Charlie Chaplin. After reviewing their latest novels, the group held a laughter workshop that had the whole café stopping to watch and wonder what they were up to. As usual, plenty of laughs and cheeky moments made it another memorable event.

Our Ipswich | Springfield Chirpies enjoyed a high tea and fashion parade CatchUp at The Lockyer Hotel in Forest Hill, helping raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. Luck was definitely on their side, with 10 raffle winners from the group, and one member also taking out best dressed on the day.

Our Hervey Bay | Maryborough CatchUp group had a fantastic night out at the Macabre Theatre Company's production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Brolga Theatre.

Our Newcastle Chirpies started their CatchUp with a beautiful morning out on the water, then headed to Oceane Hotel for lunch. It didn't disappoint, with spectacular water views, a relaxed atmosphere, and four dining experiences to cater to everyone's tastes. The weather was perfect, the setting was stunning, and everyone enjoyed an incredible lunch together.
