Wishing Well Pocket From: Torrington NSW, Australia NFS Private collection
2 years after the famous Moonlight Pocket discovery a couple of my friend’s found the wishing well pocket. While very reminiscent of the Moonlight find this pocket had its own very distinctive characteristics. The pocket consisted of lemon yellow citrine capped smoky crystals, while the lower half of the pocket transition into this darker caramel citrine. While not as famous, still a very notable discovery for the area

This was the final haul from a single pocket, some absolute beast’s came out 🔥 from memory, I think the largest was around 37.5KG!! It was such an incredible experience we spent the entire time in awe and disbelief of what was happening right before our eyes. Was not easy getting all these back to the car, we had to pack mule all of these day, multiple times per day between us 🫏💪

Throwback to a nice citrine pocket I found in the New England of NSW. Striking golden citrine with nice saturated colour
