From the undercurrents team we just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended the opening and who helped us get to this point! From the bottom of our hearts we cannot thank you enough.
As artists and visual practitioners we do not just see the world, we are influenced and inspired by every facet of its entirety.
From life through a lens, paper cutting and colour on canvas to an exploration of the human body’s capabilities; we all have different ways in which we respond to our lives. Like ocean tides we are ever shifting in our perceptions of the world. ‘Undercurrents’ exhibits our expressions of the world as the next generation of emerging creatives. The exhibition showcases the works of studio art, photo media and honours students from the Gold Coast Queensland Collage of Art.
