ABOUT THE PROJECT
Hello, I'm Joe Thompson, a 14-year-old ILCA6 sailor based on the Gold Coast. This page serves as a window into my sailing journey, seeking your support to advance closer to my long-term sailing goals.

Sailing Experience: Navigating the Waters

Over the past two years, I've actively participated in regattas along the Queensland coast and engaged in local club racing. I am now achieving consistent 1st and 2nd place finishes in my local club racing which reflects my commitment and growing proficiency in the sport.

ILCA6 Sailing: A Focused Chapter

Determined to progress in my sailing journey, I've dedicated two of my three years to refining my skills in the ILCA boat. This year has been my 2nd year participating in the Yeppoon Youth Week, the largest youth event in Australia, which saw over 210 boats on the water. I've also tackled other challenging events such as the ILCA States and the Gill Youth Week at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron.

With excitement, I look forward to next year's sailing events, with a particular focus on the prestigious ILCA Nationals in Adelaide. Your support will not only help me participate but also open doors to future coaching opportunities, allowing me to enhance my skills and refine my technique.

I love the moments, the moments we look out the window at the sky and it just sets the scene and tone for the feeling that we are expanding into.

The love.

The heart energy.

Kirtan was so beautiful last night, I really enjoy Sunday evenings chanting at ASMY.

I used to reject all invites to Kirtan and chanting because I was so over all religiousness.

For some reason I feel Kirtan is different.

The chanting has a deep resonance in the sound which feels so healing to the body.

I feel embodied (in my body) not just up in my head all the time, which is easy for my Pisces with Cancer rising - water water sign self to do...

The vibrational sacred sounds go from the throat all the way through the centre of my body, I can feel it vibrate down just below my belly button.

Sound healing can come from our very own voices, we are our own innate sound healing energy instruments.

So much gratitude comes from the simple things like the sky and the sound of one's own singing healing vibrations.

Hey Folks, I've been juggling for a while now and I had to jump on and share with you the latest....

I finished assisting 5/6 week trial for chronic pain.

The team I worked along side were amazing.

The particpants were so brave.

I started my EFT Journey as a particpant in a Clinical Trial, so it feels so good to give back !!
