Congratulations Asa! π₯
Miami State High School congratulates Asa on his outstanding achievement representing Australia at the 2026 Paddle Australia Asia Pacific Sprint Cup in New Zealand.
Asa was selected in the U18 Australian Team and recently competed at Lake Tikitapu, where the team delivered an impressive performance to secure a bronze medal.
Representing your country on the international stage is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to Asaβs hard work, dedication and commitment to his sport.
We are incredibly proud of your success and look forward to seeing what you achieve next.

Canteen Purchasing Reminder
Students are reminded that phones are to be away βgate to gateβ and cannot be used for canteen purchases.
From next week, all canteen purchases must be made using either cash or a bank card. Lunch orders can still be placed through Flexischools by students and/or caregivers.
Students have had a one-week transition period to prepare. Families are encouraged to ensure students bring an EFTPOS/debit card or cash if they wish to purchase from the canteen.

Round 2 of the Girls Rugby 7βs Super Series took us to Downlands College in Toowoomba for a huge 13-hour day of rugby.
Across the board, our girls showed clear improvement from Round 1, competing with toughness, resilience and great team spirit through 4 games each.
π U14 Girls finished 2nd overall, winning 2 from 4 games
π U16 Girls won 2 from 4 games
π U18 Girls battled hard all day, winning 1 from 4 despite travelling with only 8 players, with support from 2 Kelvin Grove students
Proud of the growth, effort and attitude shown by all players.
