Please share a nomination for the centre. ✨

✨Child Friendly Excellence Awards 2026✨

This year we have welcomed Kirsty into Goodna - Smiths Road as our Centre Manager. From the moment Kirsty has arrived we have worked hard to uphold our expectations and strive for more as a team and for the children in our care and their families. As a team we are excited for what the rest of 2026 has to offer and continue to maintain strong connections with our families.

We would love any of our current or past families to share a nomination for us, we would greatly appreciate your time to do this.

Please use Goodna - Smiths Road Kids ELC as the centre name and add the [email protected] as the contact email.

We have a visitor! Yesterday 23/09 this little teddy turned up on the top of our letterbox. It's wearing a daffodil day shirt. How far it has wandered, who knows.

Are you missing a friend?

I have placed him inside the book library on top of the books so that it doesn't get wet with these few showers around the place.

If it is yours please come and grab it. ✨
If it isn't yours, please leave it in the library for its owner.

Thanks, Bec ☺️

Weekly update for the community library. Some really good adult reads in the box this week as well as some collectibles. 😁

There might be some flashbacks for people of a certain age in the collectibles box - thanks to one of the lovely members of Goodna RSL Sub Branch for thinking of us while sharing a random act of kindness. 🫶

Continuing on with random acts of kindness - this doesn't mean the whole box goes with one person. Have the ability to leave some for others to explore and collect and show some excitement around. ✨

We would love to see what's the last book you've read or a book you are currently in the middle of reading.....comment and share a picture below. 📚

Wow, what a sha-mozzle that was.....but all organised now. ☺️

Children's to teen readers books are on the top.⬆️✨

Adult books are on the bottom. ⬇️✨

Please respect this space.

Thank you for supporting the library and keeping it in the community to share the value of books in life. 📚

This week's finds so far........a few extra goodies in the library at the moment. Hama beads and tie dye are big in my house at the moment. We've made some Hama bead bookmarks and some of our tie dye wasn't too successful but it has still made for some beautiful scrunchies and a bag that I know someone would be grateful for. Feel free to take if you or your child would use it.

Happy book-xploring! ✨
