There are a few spots left for this Saturday 9 May. Saturday 23 May is fully booked.
Join us for our upcoming workshop using the traditional skill of wet felting. Using wool, water, and soap, you will transform the wool fibres into sculptable fabric and create a colourful felt flower.
The flowers can then be attached to a pin or a clip to adorn your favourite hat or bag, or be worn as a brooch.
Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced at felting, this workshop is an accessible, relaxing and wonderful way to immerse yourself in the traditional skill of wet felting.
The same workshop will be held on the 9th and 23rd of May.
For ages 16 and over.
Dates: 10:30am to 12:30pm Saturday 9 May 2026 and Saturday 23 May 2026

On Anzac Day we acknowledge father and son Andrew and Basil Ritchie of Yule Street, Maddington who served together in the same RAAF unit in North-Western Australia. Andrew was a driver and Basil an equipment assistant.
Andrew, who was born in Scotland, enlisted at the age of 40 in 1942 after the RAAF changed its age limits. Basil, born in England, enlisted the following year just three weeks after his 18th birthday.
Their story was featured in the Western Mail on 6 September 1945.
Basil married Miss Beryl Davies of Gosnells in 1950.
