Situated near the township of Gumeracha,
in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. We are only 45 minutes from the City and 15
minutes from the beautiful wine growing
region of the Barossa Valley. We are a significant Cherry grower, boasting around 220,000 cherry trees. We have one of the largest packing facilities in the state. We offer shed door sales, however we do not allow people to pick their own. We export into Asia and the Middle East.

🍒 The faces behind the farm 🍒

Since we’ve made so many new friends since our last family photo, we thought we’d introduce you to the crew behind Torrens Valley Orchards one more time before harvest kicks off!

Tony Hannaford is our Director and one of the familiar faces keeping everything moving, alongside his wife Thi, who is always busy helping out around the farm. Then there’s Tony Jr, Ethan, William and Amarnii — our four boys who have all grown up around the orchard and enjoy getting stuck into farm life. 🌳

While you might not see everyone in the orchard every day, once harvest arrives you’ll definitely start spotting them around the shed door! 🍒 Whether it’s helping with the busy days, lending a hand wherever needed or simply being part of the harvest buzz, they all have a role to play.

With harvest getting closer, we thought it was the perfect time to put some faces to the names you’ll be seeing throughout cherry season.

September, what a month! 🌸🍒

In just 5 weeks, we’ve watched our orchard transform from tiny buds, to beautiful blossoms, and now into little cherries! It’s incredible to see how much can change in such a short time. Nature truly works its magic, and we can’t wait to watch these little cherries grow into the juicy fruit we all love. ❤️

Little cherries, big excitement! 🍒✨ Our trees are slowly filling with the beginnings of this season’s crop, and it’s pretty special watching those tiny fruits develop. We’ve got a little way to go yet, but the countdown to juicy cherries is officially on! ❤️
