Our Year 5 and 6 students are enjoying GALA Day today. Here are some photos with lots of smiling faces.

Last Friday, Our Deadly Djarra Club proudly performed at the 2026 National Sorry Day Ceremony, joining schools and community groups in recognising the stories and experiences of the Stolen Generations. We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented Hamilton State School with pride, respect and cultural strength.

Over the past 6 weeks, Louis and Josh have been travelling to Kelvin Grove State College to participate in the City Collective High Achievers Program. Louis enjoyed learning about 3D Printing in the DIGITECH program and Joshua learnt about Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Engineering in the SCIENCE program.

Our String Ensemble and Concert Band attended Instrumental Fanfare this morning! We are so proud of the hard work they put in to perform and demonstrated all our school values, especially Excellence.

The Concert Band came away with a Bronze Award and Strings Ensemble with a Silver Award.

There were lots of proud smiles in the office today as some Prep S students shared their writing with Ms Randall. They loved reading their sentences aloud and were thrilled to receive an awesome sticker for their hard work. Keep up the fantastic writing!
