Looking for a calmer way to enjoy the Toy Library?
We’re now offering Extra Access Play Sessions for families who appreciate a bit more space and quiet while exploring and choosing toys.
✨ Children are free to vocalise, explore, and play at their own pace
📅 When:
Mon & Thurs – 9:30–10am and 12–12:30pm
Sat – 9:30–10am
Open to everyone (no diagnosis needed), just book ahead! Non members can access one free trial by signing up as a guest. (Message us if you're having trouble booking!)

Our LAST SESSION for the year is SATURDAY 13 DECEMBER (10am-1pm). You have until this date to return your loans to clear space for the crazy festive season! It's also the time to get one last borrowing session in!
We will reopen on Monday 12 January 2026 after a long, well deserved rest!
We'll also be resuming our Extra Access Sessions as well.
Any loans not returned by 13 December will be renewed.

It’s World Sustainable Toy Day today which is a great way for us to promote eco-friendly toy options for families.
This year’s theme is “Connecting Families Through Play” and we thought we’d share some of our favourite items within our collection that expands on the concept “Family Favourites That Last” - celebrating the timeless joy of toys that bring families together!

🏡 Wooden Lock-Up house - loaned 101 time over 13 years, a favourite for little ones working in their fine motor skills.
👔 Wooden Ironing Board - the oldest item in our collection, since our toy library’s first beginnings!
🦒 Zoo It Yourself - an early Tupperware construction toy once donated, now vintage!
🧁 Cupcake Set - made by Green Toys, these sets are durable, long lasting and made from recycled milk bottles!
🧩 PlayBus Puzzle - a beautiful, bright wooden puzzle made by George Luck/Hape, with hand cut pieces.
