ππ§Ά A Heartfelt Thank You π§Άπ
We would like to extend our thanks to the Community Crochet Project for their incredibly generous donation of these beautiful handmade blankets.
The Community Crochet Project began in 2023 by the brilliantly creative Jade Lees-Pavey (pictured on the left), involving many Frankston and Mornington Peninsula community groups and donors, concluding in June with an exhibition at the Frankston Arts Centre.
Each blanket has been lovingly crafted with care, kindness, and dedication, and they will bring warmth and comfort to the individuals and families we support. The vibrant colours and personal touch in every stitch are a wonderful reminder of the compassion that exists within our community.
Thank you to everyone involved in creating these special blankets and to Jade for both her creative flair and for making a small idea come to life with such community spirit and connection. π₯°π₯°

Yesterday we were fortunate to have Melissa and Andrew from Port Phillip Estate volunteer their time to help out in our weekly free Fresh Food Market. Port Phillip Estate not only make and donate AMAZING meals for us each week, but they also deploy two staff every week who roll up their sleeves and help us to unpack the trucks, sort the produce and set up the market ready for our clients.
This relationship has continued since it began in 2020 and we thank Port Phillip Estate for their ongoing support. π₯° Port Phillip Estate

Today, we want to recognise a truly special young person whose kindness has touched our hearts.
At just 10 years old, Oliver saw an opportunity to help others and took it upon himself to make a difference.
To support our Winter Coat Drive Oliver organised a coat drive at Balnarring Primary, encouraged others to get involved, & collected an incredible 38 coats for our community.
We are continually amazed by the generosity of our community, but there is something especially inspiring about seeing such compassion & leadership in someone so young.
Oliver's actions remind us that one person, no matter their age, can have a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
Oliver, thank you for your caring heart, your determination, and your willingness to help those in need. You should be incredibly proud of what you have achieved. We certainly are. π₯°
