Congratulations to Aquastar Swim Schools on being named as Australia's top provider of School Swimming and Water Safety Programs in The Educator's Service Provider Awards for 2026.
Partnering with more than 50 schools, Aquastar is projected to teach in excess of 10,000 students across 70 programs in 2026. This is a substantial increase in participation from 7,630 students taught across 48 programs in 2024, meaning that more children are learning a lifelong skill – swimming. Aquastar believes that every child should have the opportunity to learn essential swimming and water safety skills, are committed to delivering high-quality programs that provide exceptional value for money to schools, students, and families.
For some families, particularly where cost, access or availability are barriers, school swimming programs may be the only structured swimming education a child receives. Aquastar therefore sees this as an important opportunity to reach children who may otherwise miss out. Its School Swimming and Water Safety Program combines age- and ability-appropriate assessments, structured progress reporting and educational resources with dedicated coordination, deck supervision and proactive communication that reduce the administrative burden on schools.
