Fanfare - Strings students who have returned their permission notes will need to bring music and instruments tomorrow. They will be travelling to Pimlico State High School for their Fanfare performance, departing at 10:15am and returning after 1:20. Parents are welcome to attend, the event is being held in the Denise Glasgow Performing Arts Centre

Today is Mabo Day - acknowledged annually on 3 June, commemorates Mer Island man Eddie Koiki Mabo and his successful effort to overturn the legal fiction of terra nullius – literally ’empty land’

The Mabo Native Title Decision - Reconciliation Australia Eddie Mabo challenged the Australian Government to recognise the Traditional Ownership of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, and won.
