Honouring Anzac Day's enduring legacy. As we all take a moment to reflect this long weekend, the Toy Library will be closed tomorrow, we will reopen next Saturday.

Puzzle and Costume Alert 🚨 We're revamping these sections, and we need your help! If you've got puzzles or costumes from the toy library, it's time to say goodbye (for now) and bring them back to us! Please swing by over the next two Saturdays and return them, so we can introduce some fresh new fun in the coming months! Thanks for your help, everyone 😊

We're thrilled to announce that the Australian Government Department of Social Services has awarded us a $1,000 grant to help us provide inclusive communication and enhance accessibility for all library users! 🎉 Our 'Sign & Play - Building Inclusive Connections through Toys' project received the 'Supporting children with disability and developmental delay' grant. This project will introduce Key Word Signing, a simplified form of sign language, to our toy collection. With this grant, we'll be adding new toys and resource sheets to help families identify key signs they can use alongside their play with the toys, fostering a sense of belonging and connection for every child. Let's unlock the power of play and communication to create a brighter future for all! 💫

Tomorrow's the day! Join us at 9am for our Annual General Meeting and take an active role in shaping the future of our toy library and community. Plus, we'll be open for loans and returns from 10-11 am. See you there 🙌

🎉 The Toy Library is throwing its last party of 2025 tomorrow! 🎉 Don't miss the party, return those toys and grab some new ones to keep the kiddos entertained over the break (or if things are too busy, we won't be issuing any fines for toys due back while we are closed). We'll be back in the game on Jan 10th, 2026. Wishing you a holiday season that's merry and bright, and not too chaotic 😂. See you next year! 🎊
