🌿🧘 Term 4 Begins with Zen Week at OSHC! 🌸✨

We kicked off Term 4 with a calming and creative Zen Week! 🌿💚 The children participated in a variety of activities focused on relaxation, mindfulness, creativity and exploration. From making wind chimes and stress balls to creating peaceful drawings and experimenting with slime, there were plenty of opportunities to get creative, explore different textures and enjoy some calming moments. 🎨🫧🔔

The children also enjoyed going on insect scavenger hunts, exploring the outdoors and discovering the little creatures living around them. 🐛🦋🌱 Peace rock painting gave everyone the chance to decorate their own rocks and express themselves through art. Our stress balls provided a fun, hands-on way to explore sensory play and discover different ways to relax. 🪨💖

Zen Week was a wonderful way to begin our new school term, encouraging creativity, curiosity, wellbeing and connection with the world around us. ❤️🌈 We loved seeing the children explore new activities, express their ideas and enjoy meaningful experiences with their peers. We look forward to another fantastic term filled with fun, friendship and learning at OSHC! 🌿✨

🎤🎶 Lip Sync Battle at OSHC! 🌟🕺💃

To finish off our Vacation Care program, the children rocked the stage with an exciting Lip Sync Battle! 🎤🤩 The children formed their own groups and picked a mystery song from a hat before working together to prepare their performances. With songs like Another One Bites the Dust and 24K Magic, there was plenty of energy, creativity and excitement as everyone got ready to take the stage! 🎶✨

The children performed like superstars, using microphones, dancing, acting out lyrics and entertaining the audience with their unique performances. 🌟🎵 It was so much fun watching the groups bring their songs to life, and we loved taking on the role of judges as we watched and celebrated each performance! 👏🏆 The experience encouraged children to collaborate, share ideas, build confidence and express themselves in front of others, while supporting and cheering on their friends. ❤️🙌

🚲🛴 Wheels Day at OSHC! 🛼🚦✨

Today at OSHC, the children enjoyed an exciting Wheels Day, putting their riding skills to the test on our very own obstacle circuit! 🚲🛴 The circuit featured give way signs, stop signs, pedestrian crossings and obstacles for children to weave around as they explored the track on their bikes, scooters and roller skates. 🚦🚸🛼
