While Adelaide families struggle with rates, rents and rising costs… the City Council drops over two million dollars on a shiny tree. This is pure excess.

Retailers will feel the pressure, prices will rise, and don’t be surprised if it has a woke saying on it like “Season’s Greetings” instead of Merry Christmas.

Last night in Adelaide our trivia fundraiser night sold out completely. Every ticket gone. The room was packed with real energy and real South Australian PATRIOTS.

To the many who couldn’t get a ticket, demand is clearly outrunning supply. More major events are coming soon.

One Nation is crushing the uni-party in South Australia.

While Liberal and Labor cling to each other and the same tired script, South Australians are turning up and backing the only side prepared to actually fight for them. This is what grassroots looks like.

One Nation SA is fighting to END THE SNAPPER BAN.

Chantelle Thomas MP - Member for Narungga has been fighting every day to bring Snapper fishing back. Labor keeps the ban in place, punishing local families, kids and businesses who just want to fish.

Chantelle is putting a motion to the Lower House. The fish are plentiful, people are waiting, and the economy is hurting.

We must lift the ban NOW.

How did Australia, the Lucky Country, the nation that once prized mateship, a fair go and civil debate, get here?

When schoolchildren chant ‘death to Pauline Hanson’ at Parliament House, and the political class brands opponents as evil for rejecting toxic ideology such as the climate cult… this is the poison that makes violence contemplatable.

Political debate is the lifeblood of democracy. Demonisation is not. We must stop it, while keeping free speech and a robust clash of ideas.

This is what we must confront if we are to remain the Australia our parents and grandparents built.

Political violence has no place in this country.

Statement from One Nation SA State President, the Hon. Carlos Quaremba MLC:

Violence against any elected representative, regardless of their political alignment, is completely unacceptable in Australia.

I was saddened to hear that Helen Haines was seriously injured in a targeted attack outside her electorate office in Wangaratta yesterday.

Violence must never become part of this great nation’s political landscape, and violence must never be a substitute for the civilised clash of ideas that built our democracy.

Elected members and their staff must be free to serve their respective communities without fearing for their safety, or the safety of their families.

In the meantime, the thoughts of SA One Nation MPs and their staff are with Ms Haines and her family. We pray for her recovery.

One Nation SA also acknowledges the efforts of local emergency service workers and members of the public for their actions immediately after the incident.
