Time to start planting those winning vegetables!
The Kangaroo Valley Public School kids have well and truly got on board this year. With the wonderful help of busy mum Taneka, our show secretary Mairi, and the ever-enthusiastic Intan, bags of seeds (complete with barcodes, growing directions and tips) have been delivered so the little gardeners can grow their entries for the 2027 Kangaroo Valley Friendly Show.
What a fantastic initiative — getting the next generation excited about growing their own produce and flowers for the Show.
Cosmos, cucumbers, tomatoes, bush beans, squash… the race is on!
You’re Welcome
See you at the Friendly Show, 12 & 13 February 2027 🌻🥕🍅

We're back at the FIG markets tomorrow offering our free morning tea.. Deb's blue ribbon scones with a twist.
Proudly supporting the first Citrus Fest, we will be serving our scones with Tony's (The General Cafe Kangaroo Valley) super Seville Marmalade, Angie's (The Valley Table) Lemon Butter and of course a dollop of whipped cream.
Citrus Fest is the weekend of July 31-Aug 2 and the Show is sponsoring the Saturday preserving day where both Tony and Angie and many esteemed others will be sharing their secrets. So come have a taste, a chat and a Sunday morning chill at the market tomorrow at the Friendly Inn from 9-12.
