Katandra Fire Brigade

⭐️ One week to go! ⭐️

We can’t wait to see everyone come and have fun, whilst getting the info you need to Get Fire Ready this summer. We’ll have a range of activities for the young and young at heart to enjoy, and of course the showbags with lollies 🍬

Why not use this weekend to perfect your colouring competition entries 🎨 We saw some fantastic artistry last year and can’t wait to see what the kids of Katandra will do this year!

Kids, sharpen your pencils because we are running our Halloween colouring comp again this year! Prizes available!

Entries are available from the school and shop and can drop your entries off there or in front of the fire brigade before Friday the 30th of October.

Best of luck!!

We are absolutely delighted that the Katandra West Kindergarten is returning next year. Having facilities available to support young families builds a strong community which keeps community groups like ours alive.

For families interested in attending in 2027, please complete this Expression of Interest form.

Last night we held a training session with Dookie Rural Fire Brigade, CFA Cosgrove & Pine Lodge Fire Brigade and Tallygaroopna Fire Brigade simulating a structure fire and practicing use of Breathing Apparatus. We used our smoke machine to create a very realistic feel in the station!

Thanks to all those who came along, our crew of organisers, and Cara and Al from Mooroopna CFA for their guidance and expertise in the operation of BA and structure fires
