NSW RFS - Camden Haven Brigade

Always good to get the gang together for some inter agency brigade training 💪🏼

🚒 Joint Training Day! 🔥

Today our brigade joined forces with NSW RFS - Camden Haven Brigade, Johns River Fire Brigade Public Page and NSW RFS - Lorne Brigade, along with Fire and Rescue NSW Station 358 Laurieton, for some great multi-agency training.

Today’s training focused on CABA operations in hot and warm zones, as well as communications — building the skills and confidence needed to work safely and effectively at incidents.

But it’s not all about the training! 🤝 Multi-agency exercises are also a great opportunity to get to know the crews we work alongside. When an incident happens, we can’t always choose who we’ll be working with, so having familiar faces and understanding how each agency operates makes a big difference.

A big thank you to everyone who took part today. It was a great day of learning and teamwork!👨‍🚒🔥

Different uniforms, one team. 💪

This morning crews were called to a bushfire half way up the mountain in Dooragan National Park. Upon arrival, crews worked quickly to contain and extinguish the fire before it could spread. Great work to everyone involved. Lake Innes Rural Fire Brigade NSW RFS - Bonny Hills Brigade Fire and Rescue NSW Station 358 Laurieton NSW Rural Fire Service - Mid Coast District

Keep it clear and tidy. Clearing and maintaining
vegetation from your property is a great way to reduce
the risk of fire spreading to your home. A well-prepared
home is far more likely to survive a bush fire. Learn more:
