About our packs:
📦📦Our 20kg packs are $414 (+ $5 temporary fuel surcharge) and include:
- Steaks (including eye fillet, rib fillet, t-bone, y-bone, rump, round, blade, osso bucco and diced steak)
- a Rolled rib roast and a Topside roast
- Silverside (available fresh/natural or corned)
- Brisket (available corned rolled or fresh/natural rolled or flat fresh/natural)
- Gluten free sausages (available thick, thin or mix) and
- A-grade mince

📦Our 10kg pack are $207 (+ $5 temporary fuel surcharge) and include:
- a selection of steaks from the list above
- gluten free sausages (thick, thin or mix)
- A-grade mince
- A Rolled rib roast OR a Topside roast*,
and
- Silverside OR Brisket*
(*roast/silverside/brisket randomly allocated for 10kg packs)

We also have “Add-On” packs available including Bunya Beef Spare Ribs, Nose2Tail and Pet Treat packs (see website for details), available to purchase with our 10 or 20kg packs📱

Things are starting to green up nicely here after the beautiful rain we’ve received in October! ☔️

I could hear the creeks running, but couldn’t quite see it from the top of the hill so knew it wasn’t running a banker yet. I drove down to check the crossing it was just starting to ebb over the concrete and had a good run of fresh water which is great to see! 🌧️

The cows are all heads down tails up enjoying the fresh feed 🌱

We had a gorgeous moon rise tonight for the full moon🌕 There skies were quite clear and even a few stars were visible just after sunset. I think the current line of storms will miss us but I’ve left washing on the clothes line to try to encourage it this way!

The frogs have a pretty loud symphony going so I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a little more if we’re lucky! 🐸 💚

Last night I was very honoured to participate as a panel member at the inaugural “Connected by Country” evening, celebrating International Day of Rural Women at “The Firebreak”. I even managed to find a skirt and heels instead of the usual work shirt, jeans and boots and stayed out past 8pm on a “school night” which is a big achievement these days 😆💃🏻

The event was run by the Queensland Rural, Regional and Remote Women’s Network ( ) in partnership with Red Dirt Social and , with funding from , and the .

Melanie McNaughton of Ground and Grow hosted the panel, and we had a great chat about community, connection and courage, along with Mayor and (thank you for the photo Rachel!)

The whole evening was amazing from the stunning setting of “The Firebreak” in the Maidenwell hills, to the delicious food and drinks from and wines, the fantastic sunset, the very welcome fire pit (the wind really picked up after the sun went down!), the lovely goodies bags (thanks to all the wonderful businesses that contributed), and the fabulous raffles! ✨

But the best part of the night was the opportunity to join in so many wonderful conversations and catch ups with old and new friends! Congratulations to everyone involved it was a truly great night ❤️

Today, it was back into the paddocks and yards, checking cows and calves. I’ve added a photo of a cute little 4 day old calf who was enjoying a little snooze in a quiet corner of the yards before I rudely woke her up to move her back to her mum!

We’ve had about 5mm of rain so far today with hopefully some more in the way. Looking forward to catching up with our customers at this weekend’s delivery run! See you soon! 🚚

We have received around 23mm of beautiful rain in the last 2 days - and we even managed to get some cattle drafted off in the yards between showers! 🌧️

We had some pretty crazy lightning last night and there’s a few rumbles around tonight so fingers crossed for some more rain too⚡️

As you can see, it’s really dried off on the last few months. We are looking forward to seeing some green shoots in the coming days 🌱

! If the ute and trailer look a bit muddy on this weekend beef pack deliveries, you’ll know why!! 🚚

On the weekend we found one of our first-calf heifers had a brand new calf! Unfortunately she wouldn’t let it feed so we brought them down to the yards to give the calf a hand.
We put mum in the head bale with some feed as this helps keep her calm and less worried what’s going on behind her, making it a lot safer for us and the calf.

Luckily the little one required very little instruction to get to work, and before long her tail was wagging and she was working up a decent milk moustache!

This afternoon it looks like the calf has had a drink through the day, but as it’s quite hot, we’ll keep them in the yards for now and keep a close eye on them until we’re sure they’ve got it all sorted out.

Did you know calves wag their tail when feeding? Pretty cute hey! Also pretty noisy 😂

September has been a busy month!

It’s calving season so we’re keeping a close eye on the heifers and cows, checking water points, and keeping up mineral lick supplies to help them utilise the drier winter feed.

There’s been some nasty fires in the region over the weekend - big thanks goes out to the local Rural Fire brigades who’ve spent their weekend protecting properties and lives! We’ve been preparing for a drier start to summer, checking firebreaks and firefighter pumps at the ready.

We were out on the road with deliveries earlier this month and it was great to catch up with new and returning customers. October delivery dates will be released this week, so it time to check your freezer to see if you need a restock!

Hope you enjoyed this little video I shot while we were putting out mineral lick for this mob of cows. Not a bad “office” I reckon! Have a great week everyone!

Today is R U OK? day and it’s a good reminder to check in on our friends, family and work mates - even when things seem OK. We don’t have to have all the answers, but sometimes a chat, a call or a smile can make a world of difference. 🌻
