💧Water Partners is Australia's only registered not-for-profit water broker. No shareholders chasing margin. No hidden agenda. Just a member elected board, a constitution built for fair trade, and three live Traderooms running 24/7.

The market sets the price. Not us. We just make sure everyone sees it.

Membership costs nothing. The more people trade through it, the more comes back to the irrigation community.

Based on the outskirts of Kyabram, the Crow family have built a diverse farming business spanning dairy, cropping and organic free-range eggs.

After downsizing their dairy operation to a more manageable 250 predominantly Holstein milkers and growing 123 acres of vetch and wheat (using the Water Partners allocation taderoom to supplement their permanent water right), the Crow family diversified into free-range eggs.

Named in honour of Russell’s late sister, the organic free-range egg business took around four years from conception to becoming a reality. Today, around 5,000-8000 Hy-Line Browns roam across approximately 80 acres of pasture, with plenty of room to forage and roam.

World Rivers Day: the waterways that make this whole thing possible. 💧

Every trade, every allocation, every irrigation season comes back to the health of the rivers and channels running through Southern Victoria. Today is a good day to appreciate that, and to keep doing the small things that protect it. 💙

Thanks for looking after the water in your part of the world!
