Look Listen Learn Expo 👀🦻🌿

What a fantastic day out for members of our Deadly Student Committee at the Ryan's Lagoon Nature Conservation Reserve! A huge thank you to the Duduroa Dhargal Aboriginal Corporation for putting on such an engaging day. The kids absolutely loved looking, listening, and learning about the cultural and environmental significance of the reserve, and building a meaningful cultural connection to country.

📚✨ Around the Murray – Author Visit with Lucinda Gifford! ✨📚
Our K-2 students had a wonderful time meeting author and illustrator Lucinda Gifford during the Around the Murray author visit!
Our students proudly represented our school in the wider community and enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about Lucinda’s books and illustrations. They even had a go at drawing some of the wonderful characters from her books. ✏️🎨📖
We’re excited to share that our school has purchased some of Lucinda’s books for our library! 📚❤️ Be sure to come and borrow them from the library and enjoy her fantastic stories and illustrations.
After the author visit, the students enjoyed a walk to the Dinosaur Park at the Botanic Gardens, where they ate their recess, had lots of fun playing and exploring, before heading back to school.
A fantastic day of learning, creativity, reading and community connection! 🌿🦖📚
Well done to all our students for proudly representing our school! ⭐
